A weight is lifted by the arrival of a good interview candidate

I was beginning to think I was being fussy. I was beginning to think I was waiting for something that does not exist, that the whole "I'll know the right candidate when he turns up" was all going wrong. But finally, finally, someone who fits the job spec. Someone with a bit of intelligence, who isn't just going to go all slopey-shouldered. Suddenly, there is hope.

I have spent the entire day calling everything "heterosexist": my computer, the software, my dinner, the tube train, just saying the word makes me giggle. Hien does not see it in quite the same light and considers me silly for not taking the issue seriously ... but he's just being heterosexist.
